El artista cucuteño Eddy Pereira le da un nuevo rumbo a su carrera musical, después de abrirse camino en la escena del merengue ahora incursiona en la música popular con ‘El Reinado’, tema que interpreta junto a Giovanny Ayala.
Esta canción, producida por Ferney Bernal, cuenta la historia de una pareja que, después de varios años de relación, deciden tomar distintos rumbos .
“Este sencillo trata de revelar la historia de muchas personas que, a diario, luchan por mantener viva una relación, donde uno de los dos, no quiere dejar morir lo que ya está muerto. Sin embargo, y después de intentarlo y del amor que siente, toma la determinación de alejarse a pesar del dolor, teniendo en cuenta que el tiempo y la distancia ayudará a olvidar y ponerle fin a esa época en la que deja claro que aquella, a la que tenía como una reina, se quedó sin su reinado”, asegura Eddy Pereira.
El video de ‘El Reinado’, el cual ya está disponible en YouTube, contó con la dirección de GM Producciones, quienes en el rodaje se encargaron de mostrar una pareja en mal estado y representarla como si se tratara de una partida de ajedrez, donde la reina, quien es la tirana de la historia, seduce y manipula constantemente para manejar el juego a su antojo, y así humillar, y menospreciar a su rey.
“Quisimos mostrar en este video una realidad que no todos tienen en cuenta. Aquí el error lo tuvo una mujer que no supo valorar lo que tenía, hizo muchas cosas y finalmente esa persona a la que ella lastimó, decide derrocarla y mantenerla lejos, hasta que finalmente se desvanece y pierde su reinado”, indica Eddy Pereira.
Para este segundo semestre del año, Eddy Pereira, seguirá dando a conocer nuevos sencillos, entre los que se destacan títulos como: ‘Soy soltero’, ‘La Parla’ y ‘Nos vamos para otro lado’, temas con los que ha logrado posicionar su proyecto musical.
