LIFETIME celebra la llegada de la Navidad con una programación ininterrumpida de 24 horas diarias que incluye 52 películas de Navidad exclusivas, entre las que se encuentran el estreno de “Cómo Enamorarse en Navidad” y “Navidad en el Chalet”, protagonizadas por Hatcher, y la presentación de otros nuevos títulos internacionales y de dos producciones originales realizadas en América Latina.

El espíritu navideño vuelve a encenderse en la pantalla de LIFETIME con una nueva edición del tradicional especial Lifetime Xmas Movies, que este año ocupará toda la programación desde noviembre hasta el 6 de enero con una celebración ininterrumpida de 24 horas diarias dedicadas a las películas de Navidad. Serán 52 títulos, incluidos 7 estrenos internacionales y 2 producciones originales realizadas en Guadalajara, México, reafirmando un clásico que se volvió sinónimo de la temporada. Porque la Navidad sin Lifetime Xmas Movies no es Navidad.

A lo largo de la temporada navideña, la pantalla de LIFETIME se viste de Navidad con historias de romance, emoción y esperanza que acompañan cada día de la cuenta regresiva festiva. Y este año, el gran destaque llega de la mano de Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), figura central de los estrenos internacionales “Navidad en el Chalet” (Christmas at the Chalet) y “Cómo Enamorarse en Navidad” (How to Fall in Love by Christmas), que serán presentados el domingo 30 de noviembre.

“Yo amo las películas de Navidad. Amo la Navidad. Tengo un montón de tradiciones navideñas en mi pequeño pueblito navideño en casa donde cocino y hago juegos”, aseguró Teri. Y añadió: “Las fiestas son una época hermosa para reunirse. Así que yo soy una de esas personas que ve películas navideñas todo el día en las fiestas. Son divertidas y me encantan”.

“Navidad en el Chalet” es una comedia romántica donde Teri Hatcher interpreta a Lex, una ex-presentadora de televisión que planea pasar unas tranquilas vacaciones en Aspen. Sin embargo, cuando pierde su reserva en un exclusivo hotel, acepta trabajar allí para quedarse durante las fiestas. El plan se complica cuando descubre que deberá compartir el lugar con su ex marido… y su nueva pareja. Entre enredos, paisajes invernales y nostalgia, la Navidad le ofrecerá a Lex una inesperada oportunidad para redescubrirse.

La noche continuará con la película “Cómo Enamorarse en Navidad” una historia en la que Teri Harcher da vida a Nora Winters, una escritora que necesita inspiración para una columna sobre el amor en Navidad. En su búsqueda, se cruza con un encantador fotógrafo que la llevará a vivir una historia tan romántica como las que intenta escribir. Un relato cálido, luminoso y lleno de la magia propia de las fiestas.

Estas dos nuevas Lifetime Xmas Movies, se integran al ya tradicional especial de Navidad reafirmando el compromiso de Lifetime de ofrecer contenidos entrañables y llenos de emoción para disfrutar en familia durante la época más esperada del año y Teri Hatcher, con su carisma y sensibilidad, será la protagonista perfecta para encender la pantalla con romance y espíritu navideño.

Otros estrenos destacados de noviembre incluyen “Última Oportunidad en Navidad” (Take a Chance at Christmas), protagonizada por Alli Chung y Michael Brown, y “Viñedo Navideño” (A Vineyard Christmas), con Nikki Mckenzie, Victor Zinck y Lucas Penner.

Además, Lifetime estrenará el sábado 29 de noviembre la producción original realizada en Guadalajara “Dulce Amor Para Navidad”, una película que cuenta como, Alan y Pablo, dos socios de una exclusiva y exitosa cadena de croissants deben arreglárselas cuando se quedan sin repartidor en vísperas de Navidad. Pablo se hace cargo de la entrega de los pedidos y queda flechado cuando conoce a Clara, la dueña del “café del corazón” quien en ese momento reemplazaba a una de las meseras del local. Ambos sienten atracción el uno por el otro y hacen planes para pasar juntos las fiestas, pero cuando descubren sus “verdaderas” identidades se sienten traicionados y los planes se desarman. ¿Podrá el espíritu de la Navidad unirlos nuevamente?

En diciembre, continúan las 24 horas de películas de Navidad y los estrenos cada sábado a las 22hrs. En esta oportunidad, las historias que encenderán el espíritu navideño de millones de hogares en Latinoamérica serán: “Un Príncipe Para la Navidad” (Royally Yours. This Christmas), protagonizada por Steve Byers, Cindy Sampson y Holly de Barros; “Aviones, Trenes y Árboles de Navidad” (Planes, Trains and Christmas Trees), protagonizada por Olivier Renaud, Kathryn Davis, Richard Waugh y Ashton James; “Un Suéter Para la Navidad” (Christmas on The Alpaca Farm), protagonizada por Kirsten Comerford, Matt Wells y Ai Barrett.

El 6 de diciembre Lifetime presentará el estreno de su otro título producido en Guadalajara: “Decora Mi Navidad” que cuenta la historia de una arquitecta especialista en la decoración de interiores, que divide su tiempo entre el trabajo y la crianza de su hijo. Sin embargo, esta Navidad la carga laboral ha aumentado y no quiere fallarle al cliente y mucho menos a su hijo, quien le ha hecho un difícil pedido a Santa.

Para acompañar de manera especial la Nochebuena y el día de Navidad, LIFETIME presenta una selección de historias entrañables que celebran el amor en todas sus formas: desde encuentros que van y vuelven, como en “Cuatro Navidades y un amor” (Four Christmases and a Wedding), protagonizada por Arielle Kebbel de “Todas contra John” y “American Pie”, hasta romances que nacen de manera inesperada, como en “La Navidad Soñada” (A Picture Perfect Holiday), “Muy soltera en Navidad” (A Merry Single Christmas), “El Vuelo Antes de Navidad” (The Flight Before Christmas) y “Nublado con Posibilidades de Navidad” (Cloudy With a Chance of Christmas). También se destacan búsquedas emotivas que despiertan recuerdos, como la de “El Regalo de Navidad” (The Christmas Gift), además de historias centradas en los vínculos familiares y el espíritu de la temporada, como “El Reemplazante de Santa” (The Santa Switch), junto a propuestas ideales para acompañar las celebraciones, entre ellas la repetición del estreno “Un Príncipe para la Navidad” (Royally Yours: This Christmas).
