El universo de Hoppers: Operación Castor, la nueva comedia animada de Disney y Pixar, cobró vida en el país con una premier que celebró el espíritu aventurero, tecnológico y natural de esta historia que llegará a los cines el 05 de marzo.

La película sigue a Mabel, una amante de los animales que utiliza una revolucionaria tecnología para transferir su conciencia a un castor y comunicarse directamente con el mundo animal. Lo que comienza como una experiencia fascinante pronto se convierte en una misión para unir al reino animal, de la mano  del carismático Rey George, y enfrentar a un alcalde encantador con un plan capaz de cambiarlo todo.

En medio de un montaje inspirado en el universo de la película, los personajes de Hoppers: Operación Castor dieron la bienvenida a los invitados. La ambientación combinó elementos naturales con guiños a la tecnología que impulsa la historia, incluyendo una puesta en escena que evocaba el laboratorio donde comienza la operación que conecta a Mabel con el mundo animal. Además, los asistentes recibieron un paquete de semillas como invitación a sembrar con conciencia y dejar una huella positiva en el entorno, mientras compartían sus promesas con el medio ambiente en un espacio intervenido con una recreación de la represa construida por los castores.

El recorrido permitió que los asistentes vivieran la experiencia de la película desde el ingreso, sumergiéndose en esta aventura incluso antes de que comenzara la función.

El evento reunió a influenciadores y figuras del entretenimiento como: Andrés Suárez, Biassini Segura, El Borrego, Laura Rodríguez, Marce la Recicladora, Sara Pinzón y Felipe Arias, quienes compartieron la experiencia con sus comunidades y destacaron el equilibrio entre humor, acción y mensaje ambiental que propone la película.

María Paula Rojas, Gerente de Marketing Theatrical de Cinecolor Colombia, representante oficial de Disney en el país, señaló que “Hoppers: Operación Castor logra combinar entretenimiento y reflexión en una historia divertida y muy oportuna. A través de sus personajes, la película invita a pensar en la relación que tenemos con la naturaleza y en cómo nuestro afán de desarrollo afecta el entorno en el que habitamos. Nos pone literalmente en las patitas de los animales para entender el mundo desde su perspectiva y reflexionar acerca de nuestra coexistencia con la naturaleza”.

Por su parte, El Borrego, quien tiene un cameo sorpresa en la película, manifestó que “la película es muy emotiva. Hay un momento en el que uno siente que el mensaje tiene toda la razón, porque habla de la naturaleza humana desde un lugar muy honesto. Sales del cine preguntándote si realmente estamos haciendo bien las cosas como humanos”.

El nivel de detalle detrás de esta producción también marca la diferencia; en una de sus secuencias más ambiciosas se animaron más de 19.000 hormigas de manera individual, y en otro momento clave cerca de 40.000 mariposas llenan la pantalla. Asimismo, a lo largo de la historia aparecen además guiños clásicos del estudio, como la icónica lámpara de Pixar y el número A113, detalles que conectan esta nueva aventura con el legado creativo que ha marcado a generaciones.

Con una animación vibrante, personajes entrañables y un conflicto que conecta con audiencias de todas las edades, Hoppers: Operación Castor plantea una pregunta sencilla pero poderosa: ¿Qué pasaría si realmente pudiéramos escuchar al mundo animal? 

La película contó con funciones de preestreno el 28 de febrero y 1 de marzo y los cines del país se preparan para su estreno oficial este 05 de marzo.

Sinopsis

En la nueva comedia animada de aventura de Disney y Pixar, Hoppers, Mabel, una amante de los animales, aprovecha la oportunidad de utilizar una innovadora tecnología que le permite transferir su conciencia a un castor robótico de apariencia realista y comunicarse directamente con el mundo animal.

Al descubrir misterios que superan todo lo que había imaginado, Mabel entabla una amistad con el carismático castor Rey George y deberá unir a todo el reino animal para enfrentar una gran amenaza humana inminente: el encantador y persuasivo alcalde local Jerry Generazzo.

Hoppers está dirigida por Daniel Chong y producida por Nicole Paradis Grindle, con música original de Mark Mothersbaugh.
