Su origen se remonta a principios del siglo XX, en particular a la escuela de diseño Bauhaus, que promovía la simplicidad formal, el uso limitado de colores y el enfoque minimalista. Estos principios se han trasladado progresivamente a la moda, inspirando colecciones y estilos más limpios, duraderos y adaptables.
Además, con la creciente conciencia de las nuevas generaciones sobre el impacto ambiental de la industria textil, el clóset cápsula ha resurgido como una respuesta al fast fashion. “La idea ya no es acumular ropa para cada ocasión, sino aprender a seleccionar prendas atemporales, de buena calidad y que puedan usarse en distintos contextos sin perder estilo. De esta manera, se gana en organización, en economía y, sobre todo, en autenticidad”, dice Ramírez.
Y agrega: “Armar un clóset cápsula es también una forma de autoconocimiento. Implica entender nuestro estilo de vida, nuestras actividades cotidianas y el tipo de prendas que realmente necesitamos”, añade.

El primer paso es observar cuidadosamente las rutinas diarias y entender las ocasiones de uso más frecuentes: ¿se trabaja en oficina, en entornos artísticos, desde casa o con uniforme? A partir de esta identificación, es posible dividir las prendas en dos grandes categorías: las de uso diario y las de uso ocasional.
Luego, se sugiere clasificarlas por tipo (camisas, pantalones, chaquetas, etc.) y por color, privilegiando una paleta neutra que facilite la combinación entre prendas.
La organización física del armario también es crucial. La ropa que se cuelga —como chaquetas o abrigos— debe ubicarse a los costados para permitir una mejor visualización. Al centro, es conveniente agrupar camisas, pantalones o blusas. Las prendas dobladas, como suéteres o camisetas, deben ir en cajones o estanterías, clasificadas por uso, tipo y color. En cuanto a los accesorios —zapatos, cinturones, bisutería o bolsos—, lo ideal es
que tengan un espacio definido, evitando apilarlos para conservar su forma y prolongar su vida útil.
“Un clóset bien organizado permite rotar mejor el vestuario, reducir el deterioro de la ropa favorita y construir combinaciones nuevas sin necesidad de comprar más prendas”, puntualiza el docente de Areandina.

· Pantalones, faldas o vestidos negros: fácil de mantener, elegante y combinable.
