La exitosa sitcom regresa el 6 de marzo a Latinoamérica con ocho nuevos episodios llenos de humor irreverente y momentos conmovedores propios de la amistad entre un adolescente y su malhablado osito que cautivó a la audiencia.
UNIVERSAL+ anuncia el estreno el 6 de marzo en Latinoamérica de la segunda temporada de Ted, la serie la exitosa comedia precuela de los divertidos largometrajes.
En los ocho episodios, la historia se ubica en 1994, y Ted (Seth MacFarlane), el oso de peluche malhablado, y su mejor amigo, el simpático pero torpe John Bennett (Max Burkholder), cursan el último año de instituto. Viven juntos en una casa de clase trabajadora de Boston con los padres de John (Matty y Susan, Scott Grimes y Alanna Ubach), y su prima (Blaire, Giorgia Whigham). Matty es un bostoniano fanfarrón y obrero que se considera el jefe indiscutible de la casa y suele chocar con su sobrina liberal.
Susan es amable, desinteresada y casi patológicamente dulce cuando se trata de cuidar de su familia. Blaire es una estudiante universitaria muy extrovertida que a menudo choca con sus parientes más tradicionales.

En un comunicado oficial escrito por Seth MacFarlane junto a los productores ejecutivos, guionistas y co-showrunners de Ted, la serie, los ganadores del Emmy®, Paul Corrigan (Modern Family) y Brad Walsh (Coupling), se reveló el tono de la segunda temporada, que está signado tanto por la dinámica familiar como por la entrañable amistad entre el adolescente y su incondicional oso de peluche parlante.
“Hemos hecho una segunda temporada de Ted, la serie que nos emociona compartir. Los episodios representan el arduo trabajo de nuestros compañeros guionistas, talentosos actores y talentoso equipo, incluyendo al equipo de efectos visuales que da vida al personaje de Ted de forma muy convincente”, expresaron.
Igualmente, describieron a los ocho nuevos episodios como “picantes y conmovedores”, la combinación que tanto deleita a los fanáticos de la comedia.
