📍 Agroparque Sabio Mutis UNIMINUTO (Tena, Cundinamarca)
La Plazoleta de la Paz, así llamada por el padre Harold Castilla Devoz, cjm, Rector de la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios UNIMINUTO, se encuentra ubicada en la entrada principal del Agroparque Sabio Mutis, unida a la Casa de la Expedición, donde está la biblioteca y la imprenta. Fue construida para resaltar el papamóvil entregado a El Minuto de Dios por la Conferencia Episcopal Colombiana. Este vehículo fue utilizado por el Papa Francisco durante su visita a Colombia en 2017, en el recorrido que realizó por la ciudad de Bogotá.
Es uno de los tres autos que modificaron más de 50 ingenieros de Chevrolet durante casi cinco meses para la visita de Francisco a Colombia. Los ingenieros reemplazaron la cabina posterior por una estructura metálica con vidrio templado y totalmente recubierta en cuero que cumple las veces de cabina papal y que además cuenta con revestimientos de seguridad para proteger contra los rayos UV, sin afectar la movilidad. Para facilitar el acceso del Sumo Pontífice, cuenta con una escalera automática que puede activarse desde la cabina o desde la parte trasera del asiento izquierdo.
Cada uno de los tres papamóviles construidos tiene un detalle que le identifica, representado en pequeños logos ubicados en el frente de la cabina papal. El que se encuentra en el Agroparque, tiene el logo del Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, equipo de fútbol favorito del Papa Francisco.
La Plazoleta de la Paz también cuenta con un guión museal que presenta una línea del tiempo sobre los medios de transporte utilizados por los papas a lo largo de la historia de la Iglesia Católica, desde Pedro, primer pontífice, hasta nuestros días. Se destaca especialmente la visita a Colombia de los tres papas que han venido al país: Pablo VI en 1968, Juan Pablo II en 1986 y Francisco en 2017. Además, la Plazoleta está conectada con más de 42 ejes temáticos del Agroparque a través de 18 senderos, entre ellos el Laudato Si’, inspirado en la encíclica sobre el medio ambiente publicada por Francisco en 2015.
